Bought a Golf GTI MK5 from Tagore used car centre Aug 2012 and stumbled upon Autovox by chance. I had no idea what car modifications was about before going there. The Staff of the Autovox team were very friendly and informative. They took time to explain to me what car tuning and modification were about and were not pushy into selling me a service or product. Turned my car (stage 1) with ABT and Chris the guy in-charge over saw the whole project to make sure that the tuning went smoothly. The car was excellent after the stage one tuning. It had only 25% more power than the original stock condition of the car and the turbo lag considerably less. Besides just selling ABT products with is specifically for Volkwagon and Audi, Chris was able to provide alternative ideas to make the car better. He was able to source for products which are not sold by autovox which made the car even better. The latest addition the my Golf GTI was a Turbo controller. He was able to create a car which many people envy! It is very powerful 290 BHP and yet drivable with no lag on the stock turbo which many thought was impossible. Really enjoyed the whole package provided by Autovox and their team. Quality services provided on top of friendships which have been forged. Will be back soon!

Someone had reversed into my car in September 2012. My car needed a new paint job on the front bumper and the license plate had fallen off. The driver who bumped into my car was sweet enough, he agreed to pay but was negotiating hard on where and how I should get it repaired so that he would pay the least.
What could have potentially been a stressful experience at the service centre turned out to be rather 'fuzz free' and comforting because Armando who assisted me was simply wonderful! I would say that he understood and truly lived the values of good customer service and care.
Armando was professional and fair, stating the facts and options of the repair work. BUT what made him outstanding was the way he took care of me as a client; he listened and took into consideration my concerns and needs. He also went out of his way to minimise my stress by firstly, agreeing to explain the repair process to the driver, and secondly by seeking alternative options to get the repair done according to budget and thirdly, for rushing the turnaround time at the repair centre.
Armando maintained friendliness and a positive attitude even though the driver wasn't receptive towards him on the phone. He also updated me on the progress of the repair.
I find Armando to be exemplary of the kind of service understanding and intelligence that Singapore needs in order to avoid a less mechanical and transactional service culture.

A big thank you to Armando, the consultant and Ang, the lead mechanic for giving my Porsche a new life. Car almost went into limb mode due to problems caused by water pump. However, the problem was detected early and a list of replacement parts were recommended by Ang. Armando did a quick quotation for most parts and i received the quotations just before midnight, on the day i visited Autovox. I knew the team had to do so because they were due for a training session in KL and a seminar in Singapore for 2 days, so getting me the quotation on the same day and having Gerald to follow up later was to make sure there were no time wasted while they were away. Upon receiving all parts, Ang and his team worked overtime to ensure i get the car back before Christmas for my road trip. Kudos to the team at Autovox! Will be back, hopefully only for regular maintenance.

I brought my car to Autovox for servicing and found it to be a good experience. I was attended by friendly and knowledgeable service staff and was led to chill-out in a clean, air-conditioned showroom with lots of magazines to read. I was seated on their comfy sofa and served good coffee, while I worked and surfed using their free wi-fi service. I must say it was easy to pass my time there while waiting for my car to be serviced. My car was eventually returned to me washed and cleaned. The charges were reasonable and now my car is running smoothly again. I’m glad I found Autovox to take care of my vehicle needs and I’d refer my friends to go to them too.

I was looking for a way to personalize my 2010 Audi A4 and went to Autovox for help. I left the shop with orders for a new set of 20" ABT motorsport rims, a new ABT grill and a lowered ride on ABT springs. In 2009 I bought my first VW Scirocco and this was after comparing it against the likes of Subaru WRX STI and the Lancer Evolution. It was love at first sight when I saw the car in the showroom of a dealership. The difference was that the car was fully customized by ABT, which was carried out by Autovox.
It was an amazing beauty! The 4-pipe ABT exhaust, the front and rear skirtings and spoilers plus the lowered suspension makes this Scirocco very different from the rest. The interior of the car was also customized by Autovox with coloured panels to match the exterior of the car, aluminium foot pedals etc. The engine was also tuned to perform significantly better and the overall work done by Autovox was excellent, a real showroom car!
I have driven this car for two years and it was a quality job just like directly from the factory. There was no scuttle shake or any noises and the ABT aerodynamic kit held firmly regardless of road conditions.
I have to say that because of the excellent work carried out by Autovox, their professionalism and especially friendly service; it's kept me going back to them. In fact my wife’s car the BMW 525i was sent to them for servicing as well.
Autovox is a credible company that my family and I will go to for all our automotive needs.

If there is one phrase that describes Autovox, in my opinion, it is excellence without compromise. My experience with Brinal and his team has always been of excellence in quality of service, attention to detail, and no compromise to get the job done to their high standards. I was first introduced to Brinal by a mutual friend who had also done some work with Autovox and spoke highly of their service. At the time, having a new Porsche 997 turbo and wondering how I could take it the next level, I met Brinal and found a fellow car guy who is as passionate about performance and looks (talking about cars here, not women!) as me.
As the authorised dealer of Techart, Autovox had what I was looking for in a jaw dropping body kit and engine modifications that turned the Porsche Turbo into an one of kind race bred performance vehicle in Singapore. I did my own research with US and UK aftermarket Porsche tuners and all agreed the Techart GT street kit was extreme with the amount of bodywork involved, in fact one US tuner said they would not attempt to do the GT Street kit given the complexity.
With Brinal and the workmanship of Autovox, I was comfortable to go ahead with the Techart GT street conversion. From there Brinal and I met at least once week over the course of many weeks to discuss all details such as paintwork (I’ve forgotten how many mock-ups of the new paint that we went through!), fitting the kit to OEM standard, testing of the engine mods etc. Brinal and the attention to detail of the Autovox crew ensured the GT street body kit and engine modifications were completed to the highest standard. Even though I went through the stages of the build, to this day I am still amazed about the quality of finish.
The after sales service is excellent too. Autovox really stand behind the products they sell and the servicing is even better than the authorised dealer warranty.
Overall Brinal and team take the utmost pride in their workmanship from the biggest projects to regular servicing. My feeling is your car becomes their car when they work on it and their pride and excellence shows in the finished product. My next car will be done by Autovox too!

I was introduced to Autovox by my close friend who used to drive an Audi and had many good comments about the products and services at there. So upon owning a VW, I decided to check it out for myself.
I personally visited the showroom cum workshop just to check it out. The environment there is indeed inviting, a well-stocked showroom, comfortable and welcoming setting with free coffee and drinks available and it was pleasantly spick and span. The ever busy workshop behind is a testimony to their brisk business. To no surprise, I find the staff extremely warm and friendly. Without any commitment to purchase, I seek clarifications on the benefits and efficiency of certain car enhancement products available. The staff did not disappoint me with their knowledgeable answers and their non-hard sell tactics in persuading me into buying the products.
On my subsequent visit, I went with a more serious intent to try out some of the products recommended by one of the retail partners. At this juncture, I must compliment Chris Lui, one of the Retail Partners, for his excellent service. Without hesitation, he conducted a very detailed study on the current status of my car and provided me with a very comprehensive analysis and report on what was needed to be done. He is indeed very knowledgeable, objective and professional in his approach. Autovox is fortunate and blessed to have such staff at hand who can listen and advise customers on the necessary upgrades without being pushy like some other sales engineers that I have encountered in other car accessory outfits. He also followed up with me closely with his good after-sales service whenever I have any technical queries.

From what, I have tested, my 1.4l Scirocco can now clock 6.7 to 6.9 s from 0 to 100km/h. This performance on 1.4l is hard to dream for but Autovox has made this happen.
